- ¼ tsp nutmeg
- For the Glaze: 125 grams confectioners' sugar, 2 tbsp milk, 1 tsp vanilla extract, pinch of salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F) and grease your doughnut pan.
- In one bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. In another bowl, mix melted butter with brown sugar until smooth. Add buttermilk, egg, vanilla extract, and nutmeg; mix until combined.
- Gently combine wet and dry ingredients using a rubber spatula until just mixed.
- Fill each doughnut cavity halfway with batter and bake for about 11 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool in the pan for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack. For the glaze, mix confectioners' sugar with milk and vanilla until smooth; dip cooled doughnuts into the glaze.
