  • 8 ounces penne pasta
  • 1 pound large shrimp (raw, deveined)
  • 1 pound top sirloin steak (cut into 1-inch cubes)
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 2 cups freshly grated parmesan cheese
  • Blackened seasoning, kosher salt, black pepper
  • Chopped parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the penne pasta in salted boiling water until al dente; drain and set aside.
  2. Season shrimp with blackened seasoning and cook in a skillet with vegetable oil for 2-3 minutes per side until pink; remove from skillet.
  3. In the same skillet, sear seasoned steak cubes until browned on all sides for about 4-5 minutes; remove from skillet.
  4. For the alfredo sauce, melt butter in the skillet, sauté onion and garlic, then add heavy cream gradually stirring in parmesan cheese until smooth. Season to taste.
  5. Combine cooked pasta with the sauce, adding in shrimp and steak; stir well to coat.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley.
