Ingredients
- 8 ounces penne pasta
- 1 pound large shrimp (raw, deveined)
- 1 pound top sirloin steak (cut into 1-inch cubes)
- ¼ cup unsalted butter
- 2 cups heavy whipping cream
- 2 cups freshly grated parmesan cheese
- Blackened seasoning, kosher salt, black pepper
- Chopped parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook the penne pasta in salted boiling water until al dente; drain and set aside.
- Season shrimp with blackened seasoning and cook in a skillet with vegetable oil for 2-3 minutes per side until pink; remove from skillet.
- In the same skillet, sear seasoned steak cubes until browned on all sides for about 4-5 minutes; remove from skillet.
- For the alfredo sauce, melt butter in the skillet, sauté onion and garlic, then add heavy cream gradually stirring in parmesan cheese until smooth. Season to taste.
