Ingredients

  • 4 firm apples (like Honeycrisp)
  • 4 Tbsp melted butter
  • 1 Tbsp packed brown sugar
  • 1 Tbsp granulated sugar
  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon
  • 8 chewy caramel squares
  • Vanilla ice cream (for serving)
  • Caramel sauce (for drizzling)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F or air fryer to 350°F.
  2. Slice the top off each apple and use an apple corer to remove the core without cutting through.
  3. Make thin crosswise cuts in each apple.
  4. Stuff each apple with 2 caramel squares and brush with a melted butter mixture made from butter, sugars, and cinnamon.
  5. Bake in a greased dish for about 30 minutes or air fry for about 20 minutes until tender.
  6. Serve warm topped with vanilla ice cream and a drizzle of caramel sauce.
