- 1 lb ground beef
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Italian seasoning

Instructions
- Cook the bowtie pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve ½ cup of the cooking water, then drain.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned. Stir in onion and garlic; cook until onions are translucent.
- Remove beef mixture from skillet. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté additional garlic. Whisk in flour, then gradually add milk to create a smooth sauce.
- Lower heat and stir in cheeses until melted. Add pasta and beef mixture; toss to combine, using reserved pasta water to adjust sauce thickness if necessary.
- Serve warm, garnished with parsley.
