  • 1 lb Monon Meats Smoked Sausage, thinly sliced
  • 2 lbs potatoes, diced
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 packet ranch dressing mix
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 onion, finely diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup chopped green onions, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the sliced smoked sausage until fully cooked; then set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, sauté the diced onion and minced garlic until translucent.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine the diced potatoes, browned sausage, sautéed aromatics, cheddar cheese, ranch mix, milk, melted butter, salt, and pepper.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and cover with aluminum foil. Bake for 60 minutes.
  6. Remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until potatoes are tender and top is golden brown.
  7. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
