- 1/2 cup butter (melted)

- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 2 tart apples (peeled and chopped)
- For the streusel topping: 4 tablespoons butter and 1/2 cup granulated sugar
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease an 8-inch springform pan.
- In one bowl, combine flour, sugars, cinnamon, nutmeg, and melted butter for the streusel; set aside.
- In another bowl, cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Add egg, vanilla extract, and sour cream; mix well.
- Combine dry ingredients (flour, baking soda, salt, baking powder) in a separate bowl. Gradually mix into the wet ingredients until just combined.
- Spread half of the batter in the prepared pan. Layer with apple chunks and streusel crumbs. Top with remaining batter and streusel.
- Bake for 35–40 minutes until a tester comes out clean.
- Cool slightly before removing from the pan and drizzle with glaze made from powdered sugar and apple cider.
