Ingredients

Scale
  • 10 slices white sandwich bread
  • 3 tablespoons melted butter
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 23 tablespoons butter for frying

Instructions

  1. Remove crusts from the bread slices and flatten each slice using a rolling pin.
  2. In a small bowl, mix melted butter, brown sugar, and ground cinnamon. Spread this mixture evenly on each flattened slice.
  3. Tightly roll each slice from one end to another, sealing the edges gently.
  4. In a shallow bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and additional cinnamon.
  5. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add butter. Dip each roll in the egg mixture and place seam-side down in the skillet.
  6. Cook for about 2–3 minutes total, rotating to brown all sides evenly.
