Description

Ingredients

  • 3 cups uncooked elbow macaroni
  • 1/2 medium red onion, finely diced
  • 1 rib celery, finely diced
  • 1/2 green bell pepper, finely diced
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
  • 3 tablespoons white vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 teaspoons white sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon granulated garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder

Instructions

  1. Cook the elbow macaroni in salted water according to package directions until al dente. Drain and rinse under cold water until cooled.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, mustard, vinegar, black pepper, sugar, salt, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  3. Add the diced red onion, celery, and bell pepper to the dressing; mix well.
  4. Combine the cooled pasta with half of the dressing in a large bowl and toss to coat evenly. Cover both the pasta and remaining dressing; refrigerate for at least two hours.
  5. Before serving, add the remaining dressing to the pasta mixture and toss gently. Adjust seasoning if necessary.
