  • 29 ounces diced tomatoes

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (or other cooking oil)
  • 3 tablespoons chili powder (divided)
  • 2 tablespoons cumin
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon salt

Instructions

  1. Dice onion, green bell pepper, and garlic.
  2. Sauté vegetables in olive oil for 2-3 minutes until soft.
  3. Brown ground beef with sautéed vegetables; drain excess fat.
  4. Combine meat mixture with beans, tomatoes, tomato sauce, and spices in the slow cooker.
