  • 1 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • ½ cup water or beef broth
  • 2 bell peppers (red and green), sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

Instructions

  1. Marinate the beef: Combine beef with soy sauce, cornstarch, rice vinegar, and sesame oil; let it sit for at least 15 minutes.
  2. Prepare the sauce: Whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, sugar, cornstarch, and water until smooth.
  3. Cook the beef: Heat oil in a skillet over high heat; sear the marinated beef until browned on both sides; remove from skillet.
  4. Stir-fry vegetables: Add remaining oil; sauté bell peppers and onion until tender; add garlic and cook briefly.
