  • 400 g flour
  • 1 egg
  • 40 g butter (dough)
  • 25 g butter (for cooking)
  • 450 g steak
  • 20 ml olive oil
  • 5 g salt (for filling)
  • 3 g cayenne powder
  • 3 g red bell pepper powder
  • 3 g onion powder
  • 2 g garlic powder
  • 1 g dried parsley
  • 80 g red onion (sliced)
  • 75 g red bell pepper (sliced)
  • grated cheese

Instructions

  1. Combine lukewarm milk, instant yeast, and honey in a mixing bowl. Stir well.
  2. Add flour, beaten egg, butter, and salt; mix to form a cohesive dough.
  3. Knead on a floured surface for 10–12 minutes until smooth. Let rise for 1 hour.
  4. Divide dough into 16 equal pieces; shape into balls and flatten slightly.
  5. Stack two pieces together and coat in fine semolina.
  6. Arrange on a baking sheet lined with parchment and let rise for another 30 minutes.
  7. Bake in a preheated skillet until golden brown.
  8. Cook beef with spices; add veggies and cheese until melted. Assemble in rolls.
