  • 2 bay leaves
  • 2 cups egg noodles
  • 2 cups water

Instructions

  2. Bring the mixture to a boil; then reduce heat to low and cover.
  3. Cook until chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (about 20-30 minutes).
  4. Remove chicken, shred it with forks, and return it to the pot.
  5. Stir in thyme, garlic, salt, pepper, bay leaves, egg noodles, and water.
  6. Cook on medium-high for about 10 minutes or until noodles are tender.
  7. Remove bay leaves before serving.
