  • 2 cups all-purpose flour

  • 2 ripe bananas (mashed)
  • For the Frosting: ½ cup unsalted butter (room temperature)
  • 2 cups confectioners' sugar
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • ¼ cup caramel topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a greased or parchment-lined 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. In a bowl, mix melted butter with brown sugar until well combined. Add vanilla and eggs; mix until smooth.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together flour and salt. Gradually add to the wet mixture until just combined.
  4. Gently fold in mashed bananas.
  5. Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for about 45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  6. For the frosting, beat room temperature butter with sifted confectioners' sugar until creamy. Add salt, caramel topping, and milk as needed.
  7. Once cooled completely, frost the bars evenly before cutting them into squares.
