- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 4 cloves garlic, chopped
- 1 cup reduced sodium beef broth
- 1 diced green pepper
- 1 diced onion
- 1 cup cheddar cheese
- 6 slices provolone cheese
- Hamburger buns (6)
- Worcestershire sauce
- Dijon mustard
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F.
- Cut buns in half and spread mayo or butter on them. Bake for about 5 minutes until golden brown.
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef with olive oil, onion, and green pepper until browned. Add garlic and sauté for 2 more minutes.
- Mix beef broth with cornstarch and beef bouillon; add to meat mixture in skillet.
- Stir in ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, and remaining seasonings; cook until heated through.
- Add cheddar cheese until melted, then spoon onto buns and top with provolone cheese.
- Return to oven for about 10 minutes until everything is hot and bubbly.
