- 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
- 1 packet (0.25 oz) instant yeast (or 2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast)
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 2–3 tablespoons almond milk (or any milk)
Instructions
- Warm the milk to 120-130°F to activate the yeast.
- In a mixing bowl, combine warmed milk, melted butter, sugar, salt, and instant yeast; mix well.
- Gradually add flour until a dough forms; knead on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth.
- Let the dough rise in a greased bowl for about 30 minutes.
- Prepare the filling by mixing softened butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon together.
- Roll out the dough into a rectangle; spread the filling evenly over it.
- Roll up tightly from one end and cut into equal pieces.
- Place in a greased baking pan; let rise again for about 20 minutes.
- Bake at 350°F for about 25 minutes until golden brown.
- Whisk together powdered sugar and almond milk for glaze; drizzle over warm rolls before serving.
