Ingredients

  • 2 heads cauliflower
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon chopped parsley

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 500ºF (260ºC).
  2. Remove the outer leaves from the cauliflower and trim the stem. Cut each head in half lengthwise and slice into 1½-inch thick steaks.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
  4. Drizzle olive oil over both sides of each cauliflower steak and sprinkle with the seasoning mixture.
  5. Place on a baking sheet covered tightly with aluminum foil and bake for 5 minutes. Remove foil and roast for an additional 16-18 minutes, flipping once until golden brown.
  6. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
