Ingredients
- 750g chicken breast
- 2 onions
- 3 tsp garlic
- 2 tsp ginger
- 250ml chicken stock
- ½ cup soy sauce
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- ¼ cup oyster sauce
- 1 Tbsp sesame oil
- 500g broccoli florets
- 2 Tbsp cornstarch
Instructions
- In a slow cooker, combine chicken chunks, quartered onions, crushed garlic, minced ginger, chicken stock, soy sauce, brown sugar, oyster sauce, and sesame oil.
- Mix well and set the slow cooker to low heat. Cook for 4 to 6 hours until the chicken is tender.
- In a mixing bowl, combine cornstarch with water until smooth and stir into the slow cooker to thicken the sauce.
- Add broccoli florets to the mixture and switch the slow cooker to high heat for an additional 30 minutes.
- Serve warm over rice or noodles, or enjoy as is.
