  • 1/4 cup (50g) granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg, at room temperature
  • 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
  • 2 cups (250g) all-purpose flour, spooned & leveled
  • 2 teaspoons cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup (135g) white chocolate chips, plus a few extra for garnish
  • 1 cup (140g) dried cranberries, plus a few extra for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (177°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, cream together softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar using a mixer.
  3. Beat in an egg and vanilla until smooth.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together flour, cornstarch, baking soda, and salt; gradually mix into the wet ingredients.
  5. Fold in white chocolate chips and dried cranberries.
  6. Chill the dough for at least one hour before baking.
  7. Scoop dough onto prepared sheets about three inches apart and bake for 11-12 minutes.
