- 5–7 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 28 oz canned petite diced tomatoes
- 16 oz canned tomato sauce
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 large sweet potato, cubed (about 12 oz)
- 1 tbsp chili powder
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tbsp granulated sugar
- 1 cup frozen corn
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Sauté onion and garlic for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
- Add ground turkey, breaking it apart as it cooks. Season lightly with salt and pepper until no longer pink.
- Stir in tomatoes, tomato sauce, chicken broth, sweet potatoes, chili powder, smoked paprika, cumin, and sugar; bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat and simmer for about 15 minutes until sweet potatoes are fork-tender.
- Add frozen corn and cook for a few more minutes until heated through. Adjust seasoning if needed.
